The World Bank could resume lending to India this week despite sancitons imposed after the country joined the nuclear club, monetary sources have said. They said the bank's board was tentatively scheduled to consider a large humanitarian loan for Andhra pradesh on Thursday . They would not say how much money would be under discussion or what it would be used for.
