India seeks $32 b international aid for forest programme

India on Monday asked international donor agencies to fund its ambitious $3.2 billion forestry programme to be implemented over the next 20 years. Suresh Prabhu asked so, while inaugurating a conference of International donor agencies for the National Forest Programm (NFP), organised by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO).
