A Steel Authority of India oficial has claimed that the well-known mass-to-energy conversion equation propounded by Albert Einstein is "inaccurate, and violates basic physics." Mr Shankar Hazra, a manager with SAIL at Bokaro, declares there is "no question of any mass to energy conversion process. Alpha particles and neutrons are emitted during the reaction, and though we fail to recognise the other particles, it is these that are responsible for the radiations."
