An unusual Indian experiment in studying the ingenuity of common people at the grassroots has been awarded the Asian Innovation Gold by the prestigious Far Eastern Economic Review (FEER). "It is indeed a recognition for the efforts of Sristi (Society for Intiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutes) for scouting and promoting rural innovations," said Anil K. Gupta, a professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
