Two units of Indira Sagar Hydel Power Project of National Hydel Power Development Corporation (NHPDC) are expected to start commercial generation before the scheduled date of December 31, sources said. However, in case of any obstacle, the commercial generation would not be delayed beyond January 7, 2004. The Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board (MPSEB) has been asked to provide connection with 220 kv transmission line.
