Indorayon to start audit after environment charges

An Indonesian pulp and rayon makeraccused by environmentalists of overcutting timber has been instructed to start an audit of its activities in the next few days, the company said. PT Inti Indorayon Utama (Indorayon) , owned by NewYork-listed Asia Pacific Resources International Holdings Ltd (APRIL) said the Department of Industry and Trade has told it it expects the audit to begin in early March. The company said in a statement it understood the auditors would be PT Sprint and Jakko Poyry Consulting, a Finnish Forest Product Consulting Company.
