Indraprastha Gas to put up 100 CNG stations in Delhi

Indraprastha Gas Ltd, a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Gas authrotiy of India ,is is set to revolutionise transportation in Delhi. The company , which is being incorporated this week, will put up 100 CNG ( compressed natural gas) stations in the capital and convert all DTC buses and a majority of taxis and rickshaws to CNG. The company is gearing up to meet the March 1, 2000 deadline for conversion from polluting hydrocarbons to green fuels.
