The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) has cleared Rs 18 billion Kachhi canal project for Balochistan and withdrawn its certification for the extension of Pat feeder canal. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Authority in Islamadabad, (Pakistan) with Noor Mohammad Baloch in the chair, and attended by all members including Chief Engineer and Secretary of the Authority.
