Infofish, an inter-governmeental organisaiton created by Food and Agricultural Organisaiton (FAO) and assisted by Danish International Development Assistance (Danida), is hosting an international commodity conference on shrimp in New Delhi in November. Shrimp'98 is being held for the first time in India and is in collaboraiton with Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEA). The main theme of Shrimp'98 will be the shrimp industry and trade in the next millennium.
