The Union cabinet on Tuesday gave its consent for finalising the launch contract of Insat-3A with the European space transport company - ArianeSpace Consortium - at a cost of $83 millions or Rs. 352.75 crores at a conversion rate of Rs. 42.50 to a dollar.The Insat-3A is expected to be launched in the middle of 2000.
