IOC steps against vehicular pollution

As part of its sustained campaign against vehicular pollution, the Indian Oil Corporation (Northern Region) launched a unique roof-top display system for monitoring and creating awareness among motorists about the fatal consequences of increasing carbon monoxide content in the air.The 10-ft carbon monoxide censor-fitted magnetic display board atop the 11-storeyed Indian Oil Bhavan at Yusuf Sarai, which was inaugurated by Mr. Dilip Biswas, Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board here, is the first of its kind installed by a corporate giant in the city.
