Ion exchange (India) Ltd (IEIL) and the Muniwar Abad Charitable Trust (Mact) have collaborated on the installation of a fluoride removal system at village Methan in Sidhpur taluka of North Gujarat. Methan is one of Mehsana district's 182 villages where the fluoride content in drinking water exceeds the World Health Organisation (WHO) standard of 1.5 ppm.
