Senior Delhi Jal Board (DJB) officials are spending sleepless nights these days over the ambitious Sonia Vihar water treatment plant that is yet to receive any raw water even months after its completion.Now the Central Vigilance Commission has pointed towards various irregularities in the project and has asked its Technical Examination Committee (TEC) to examine it.The officials have received a list of objections raised by the TEC seeking answers on various "unsatisfactory" aspects of the 140 MGD project. These days, the officials are busy looking up files related to the project to prepare their replies to the queries that the TEC raised while conducting the audit of the project.
