The Haryana government has proposed a project to provide irrigation facilities in Ambala district and the adjoining areas. The proposal has been sent to the Central Water Commission for approval. This was disclosed today by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing a public meeting after inaugurating Rajiv Gandhi Government College at Saha, 15 km from here. Besides, the Dadupur-Nalvi canal was also being constructed and first phase of it had already been completed, he added.
