A section of conscious people has been alleging of illegal timber felling and wanton destruction of forest resources of Assam in the Arunachal border, since a long time. Their allegations were proved to be true recently, when the police, with the cooperation of the officers and employees of the Forest Department, detained a truck driver and seized the smuggled logs along with the truck.
