Ignoring requests from environmentalists the world over for saving the endangered Tibetan antelope, the Jammu and Kashmir is all set to protect the illegal manufacturers of shahtoosh shawls in Kashmir through its proposed wildlife law. Shahtoosh is an exotic wool, extracted from the endangered Chiru, the Tibetan antelope, which is slaughtered for the purpose.
