Culture and Tourism Minister Jagmohan will wield the broom in and around the area adjoining the Pushkar lake and the temple devoted to Brahma in an attempt to boost both tourism and preserve an ancient heritage gathering dirt and stench. But before he begins to sweep, he has decided to bring the area's upkeep under the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) through a notification. The preliminary notification under Section 4 of the Monuments and Antiquities Act will bring the temple under the purview of the ASI.
