The Japanese Embassy today presented cheques amounting to $137,208 to two Indian non-governmental organisations as part of its efforts to support grassroots-level social development projects in India. The two NGOs chosen for this year's grant are Muskaan, the Parents' Association for the Welfare of Children with Mental Handicap, and the Development Research and Action Group (DRAG).
