The Japan Bank for International Cooperation has extended a loan of Rs 202 crore for a Punjab afforestation project. The project to be taken up by the State Department of Forests and Wildlife Preservation would support to rehabilitate degraded forest areas to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of forest produce.
