Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Friday undertook a whirlwind tour of most parts of north and central Chennai and inaugurated many new and renovated parks besides enquiring about the supply of drinking water after the implementation of the Veeranam Project. She also inspected the ongoing developmental works in various parts of the city, including traffic islands, public conveniences and cement concrete roads. The works on these projects are being executed as part of the �Chennai Forever Initiative� launched by the Chief Minister last year.
