Political compulsions seem to have forced Jharkhand's tribal leaders to speak on diametrically opposite things. On one hand is former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi of the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and on other hand are leaders of main opposition party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). Marandi, till he was in office, took some controversial decisions like reservation and domicile policy to protect the cause of tribals.
