A Division Bench of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has issued notices to the state government, its forest corporation and others on a petition against allowing logging across the state. Cheif Justice B P Saraf and Justice Bashir-ud-Din yesterday directed these respondents to file replies within two weeks as to why action should not be taken against them on a petition filed by the Jammu and Kashmir People's Vigilance Bureau on the issue.
