Contrary to the government's liability to protect the environment by protecting the forest land. Jammu Municipality has encroached a piece of land near Deer Park Manda, wherein the Municipality is operating its machinery for the construction of tiles and drainage channels. On one side of the encroachment has caused loss to the forest land and on the other hand the operation of the machinery such as mixers and vibrators has been causing disturbance to the animals and the birds kept in the deer park.
