JMM delegation meets Kalam on tribal rights

The main opposition party of Jharkhand met president A P J Abdul Kalam with 14 demands, that include safeguarding the tribal land act. JMM chief Shibu Soren told the The Pioneer over telephone from New Delhi: "we met the president with the 14-point demands. The President gave us a patient hearing and assured us that he would take appropriate measures to safe guard the interest of tribals of the state."
