Director General, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education(ICFRE), RPS Kalwal has said that joint forest management (JFM) is an effective tool for conservation, protection and regeneration of forests. Addressing a press conference on 31 January, Kalwal said that management of forests was not possible without participation of people.
