Two days after the Supreme Court directed Delhi municipal corporation (MCD) to stop felling trees in Karol Bagh, the corporation's commissioner Rakesh Mehta said he would inspect the area. The Lieutenant-Governor asked me to stop felling of trees immediately. He has now asked me to visit the spot the report whether the felling is required to widen the roads, Mehta said.
