In a bid to transform Kochi into a green-city, the Corporation of Cochin is embarking on a project to plant trees across the city to reduce environmental pollution. The project is part of the Environment Protection Project charted by the Corporation in the Kerala Development Plan. The Corporation has invited suggestions and applications for sponsorship from individuals, Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations.
