Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the Assembly that the government had formulated schemes worth Rs 981 crore for the infrastructure development of Kochi. These included the Rs 676-crore project for the augmentation of water supply in the city and another Rs 305 crore with Asian Development Bank assistance for improving transport facilities and solid waste disposal, Chandy said in reply to a submission by K Babu of the Congress.
