Labourers engaged to restore Firoz Shah Kotla, a protected monument, by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) have occupied the 14th century tombs within the complex. Conservationists are outraged but ASI doesn't find anything wrong. For over a month now, the labourers have been using a tomb to stay, cook and carry out other activities. What's worse, they have driven nails into the walls of the structure for a clothesline. The complex doesn't have toilet facilities and the labourers have to use the complex.
