Krishna meets Kalam, Advani over cauvery

The river water dispute between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh has put a question mark on the ambitious national river water linking project proposed by the NDA government. Irked by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's alleged remarks urging the people of the state to stop the construction of Paragodu Tank by Karnataka, the state Chief Minister, Mr S.M. Krishna, led an all party delegation to the president, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr L.K. Advani.
