The Krishna water supply scheme would be ready by March 2004 instead of the original schedule of December, 2004. This was stated by Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board Managing Director MG Gopal at the District Development Review Committee. He said tender procedures for various works of the drinking water project, including construction of reservoirs enroute, pump houses and water treatment plants would be finalised soon by the tender approval committee.
