Financial constraints notwithstanding, the Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development corporation is achieving credible progress on some of the major irrigation projects in the state. Massive excavations construction of huge pumphouses, laying of pipelines and electrical installations are in progress at a number of major irrigation sites in western Maharashtra.
