The Karnataka Slum Clearance Board (KSCB) launched the 'Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojana' which envisages residential facility for slum dwellers in urban concentrations of the State. Over the next four months, 10,000 residential dwellings will be built in all parts of the State under the 'Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojana', which is sponsored by the Union government.
