KOCHI: In the next three months, passengers at the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus stand in the city can make use of electronic toilets (e-toilets). The KSRTC stand in the city is among the four stands in the state that have been identified for installing the state-of-the-art e-toilets. The project has been mooted by a team of officials led by Transport Minister Jose Thettayil in order to improve the hygiene standards at the bus stand for the public. Complaints have been pouring in from various corners about the filthy state of affairs of public toilets in the KSRTC stand in the city. Transport Minister Jose Thettayil told Express that all the modalities for implementing the project have been completed and the work will begin in the next two months.
