Kulgam artisian innorates paste for polythene bag destruction

JAMMU, July 23: An awareness programme cum workshop was organized by J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board at Kanipora, Kulgam to create awareness amongst the rural entrepreneurs about different schemes being implemented by the board. Besides, rural artisans namely Miss Nasira Akhter R/o Kanipora, Nabadad, Kulgam who has innovated smokeless destruction of polythene bag after applying very little paste discovered by her. Earlier, she has demonstrated before a team of research scholar faculty of Kashmir University and got made chemical analysis of the development made. The product i.e paste innovated has been sent through Kashmir University to Ahmadbad for getting patent of product. She was honored through association of Rural Surgeon of India in which Rs. 10,000 was presented through Member National Khadi and Village Board, G.N Naik besides her name has been also recommended for ANTIA FINSETH award for a year 2008 which carry cash award of Rs. 1 lakh and certificate. G.N Naik was the chief guest while Secretary/CEO, KVIB, R.C Sharma presided over the function. Naik while speaking on the occasion highlighted the performances and achievements of the Board in spreading rural industrialization and also the innovative work started by the unit holders in traditional industries by availing benefit of product development, common facility centre and quality control. The Secretary/CEO of the board underlined the need for such derive for innovation by the entrepreneurs to give service to the humility.
