Power Minsiter P.R. Kumaramangalam today vowed not the bow down to pressure from environmentalist Sunder Lal Bahuguna and asserted that power from the 1000 MW Tehri hydro power project will start flowing by the year 2002.Outrightly rejecting Bahuguna's demand to deploy American experts for evaluating safety aspects of the controversial project, Kumaramangalam said: "Why should we go to America. We have good Indian experts. In am surprised why Bahuguna should make such a demand."
