The lieutenant-governor of Delhi, Mr Vijai Kapoor , emphasised the need to prepare a masterplan for education in Delhi. He also proposed the every school must have a managing committee with parents and teachers as its representatives and the principal as its chairperson to ensure community participation and involvement in school affairs.
