Land reforms dominated the third day of talks between Naxal leaders and the Andhra Pradesh government today, setting aside contentious issues like carrying of weapons. The meeting is expected to address the land question which includes identifying, acquiring and distributing surplus land. While the state, on its part, would be doling out details of the land distributed and land in litigation, the Naxals are expected to seek a clear methodology in implementing land reforms to benefit the farm hands.
