The officials of town and country planning department and Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) have once again struck gold. This time they have changed the land use of 80 acre of green belt area in Khajrana to 'residential' without Madhya Pradesh State Government's approval. According to the City Master Plan, the 80 acre land is earmarked as green belt. The town and country planning officials, in a bid to manipulate procedures, sent a proposal to the state government in the year 1992, seeking sanction for the change of land-use.
