The Nature Conservation Guild has alleged that the lack of proper planning and preparation of the local forest officials has been the cause of the spread of the forest fires in Karnataka. Urging the forest department to take 'decisive steps' and formulate action plans to control forest fires in the region, the Guild has also announced its full support to the department in this direction.
