Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) has served a legal notice on Tuesday against the illgal trade in wild life at the Kataban area in the city. The notice has been served upon the secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, the Conservator of Forest (Wild Life), Mayor of Dhaka City Corporation, the Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and the Pet Shop Owners Association of Kataban, says a Press release.
