Dissatisfied with the performance of Delhi's students in this year's board examinations, Lt Governor Vijai Kapoor has laid emphasis upon the need for preparing a master plan for education in Delhi. At a meeting called to discuss the quality of education in Delhi, Mr Kapoor said that every school should have a managing committee with representatives of parents and teachers, with the principal concerned as the chairperson. "This will ensure the community participation and involvement in school affairs", added Mr Kapoor.
