Long term working plan should be prepared in consultation with the local communities and in accordance with guidelines issued by the Pakistan Government to monitor changes in the forest cover and to formulate and review forest policy and institutional arrangements. This was decided during the meeting of Federal Forestry Board, which met here under Federal Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and Labour Omar Asghar Khan here on Monday.
