Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has acheived a major breakthrough in improving the quality of petrol and diesel by adopting new refining techniques. The public sector oil major's Gujarat refinery has produced high-quality premium grade petrol which is almost lead free (0.003) per cent and benzene content of less than one per cent.
