LPG blast: 700 jhuggies gutted in South, NW Delhi

Over 700 jhuggies and shops were gutted in two incidents of medium fires in south and north-west parts of the Capital. One person was injured. The fire in the Sabzi Market, Sector 9, RK Puram, South Delhi, gutted over 200 jhuggies and shops. The origin of the fire was believed to be from an illegal mini-cylinder refuelling shop, when the shopkeeper was trying to refuel. The fire which started around 2.15 pm and was brought under control within one-and-half hours with the help of 21 fire tenders. One person was injured in the incident.
