Even as the deadline set by the Hyderabad metropolitan water supply & sewerage board (HMWS&SB) for submission of applications to avail of 50 per cent subsidy towards construction of rainwater harvesting stuctures in houses and residential complexes ended on Saturday, only about 4,000 applications were received by Saturday evening in a city having roughly three lakh households.
