One can imagine the fate of Right to Information Act in Rajasthan which the Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Gahlot, claims as his biggest achievement in his two-year old regime.In a clear violation of the act, the Magsayay award winner, Ms. Aruna Roy, was denied information for ten months by district officials, right from the district collector level to the 'gram sewak'.
