Mahuva (Bhavnagar): As their pleas have gone unheard even after nearly two-and-a-half years, around 5,000 farmers protesting against the proposed cement plant by Nirma will march to Gandhinagar on March 3. Mahuva BJP MLA Kanu Kalsaria, who has been spearheading the agitation, says that farmers from the villages to be affected by the plant will walk from Doliya village to Gandhinagar, 350 km away, to protest against the allotment of 268 hectares, part of Samadhiyala bandhara (reservoir and its catchment area), to Nirma company to set up a cement plant.
