- Malaysia is in the grip of a water crisis

For about a month now , Malaysia has been facing a water crisis so serious that central Selangor state and the capital Kuala Lampur, have been rationing water to more than 600,000 residents. This is a situation many Malaysians are not used to because the country is usually one of the wettest in the region and has long sold water to neighbouring Singapore.
