The Maruti Omni vans have made their debut on the Capital's roads as black and yellow cabs. The registration of first four vans has paved way for these vehicles to ply on the Delhi roads. Delhities will soon witness the debut of the Maruti 800 car as taxis with the State Transport Authority (STA)having approved their registration as local cabs.According to a release by the Maruti Udyog Limited here today, the Omini five-seater van has been termed as a logical replacement choice for the taxi operators affected by the Supreme Court directive.
